Two Months, TOO Soon

Why is this going by so fast??? Why are my little girls getting so big and changing so quickly??? Why can't we just slow down time...just for a little while so I can enjoy these precious moments a little longer. I constantly heard friends of mine with kids talk like this and I didn't understand it. Until now. Oh sure, I still look forward to all the new and exciting things to come...crawling, walking, starting school, and yes, even dating. But there's just something so sad about the first couple of months having come and gone....knowing you'll never get them back. I guess this is a good reminder to all of us to cherish it, because it really does go by way to fast. That's exactly what I'm trying to do and even through the rough times, I still continue to thank God for the time we have together and the memories we have made!

At 2 months y'all~

Have moved to newborn clothes and diapers even though they're still a little too big (this transition made mommy a bit emotional).
Are taking about 3-4 oz. of breast milk every 3 hours.
Are the cutest little chunks we've ever seen...look at those bellies!!!
Are getting better at keeping the pacifier in your mouths.
Have successfully transitioned to your big girl beds and no longer seem to have your days and nights mixed up but are sleeping for 5-8 hour stretches at a time.
Are still big on cat napping during the day rather than sleeping for long stretches at a time.
Really enjoy swinging and will take the above mentioned naps in here.
Still love to be swaddled especially since we discovered the Miracle Blanket.
Have celebrated your very first Christmas and seen more Christmas lights than anyone has at 2 months old :)
Have successfully made two out of town trips and still love riding in the car.
Still tolerate tummy time because you are generally sleeping.
Still occasionally show us those sweet little smiles.
Still hate photo shoots and typically cry through a good portion of them.
Are still the absolute loves of your mommy's and daddy's life's!
