James had been trying to convince me for some time to move the girls up to their own room. When I say up, I mean WAY upstairs, far away from mommy :( Although I understood his reasoning (ya know, all the cute little noises they make at night?!), it took me a while to be ready. I finally decided I could handle the transition, IF we slept upstairs in the spare bedroom across the hall from the nursery. He agreed and tolerated this for....oh, at least a month or so (I don't remember exactly how long it was). And to be honest, I have to admit (grudgingly) that he was right.....the girls started sleeping SO much better and so did we. It wasn't too terribly long after this that they started sleeping through the night.
Yes, we have two cribs but seriously people, ONE thing at a time!!!! Actually, "they" always say that twins sleep better next to one another since they were so close for the entire time they're in their mommy's tummy. And this little fact makes me very happy :)
So here you are, the cutest little girls ever sleeping in their BIG girl bed for the first time ever!!!
