3 Month Photo Session

Around mid-February, we met up with Big Heart Photography again for the girls 3 month pictures.  Let me just tell you, 3 months was WAY harder than newborn....and I hear it only gets worse.  During the newborn photo shoot, they just slept.  They let you put them in whatever position you so desired.  A warm heater and the sound of a heart beat kept them sweet and content.  This time around, things looked a little different.  Don't get me wrong, the girls weren't terrible.  They actually handled it better than I expected.  I think this was partly due to the fact that we took the pictures outdoors-they, like most kids, really like to be outside!  But, they did not just sit while we maneuvered their little bodies.  And yes, even though there are sweet little smiles in there, my children REFUSE to show them for the camera.  We at least were able to get them to look towards the camera using some handy little noise makers :)

We took the pictures at Katy Heritage Park in Old Town Katy.  This is where our maternity photos were taken and we just love it.  It's so beautiful and offers a variety of opportunities for great shots.  Not that it really matters where you take the pictures when you have such precious little angles and extremely talented photographers to work with :)  As always, this proved true!  We love the pictures and are so thankful that we are able to document these precious milestones that are flashing before our very eyes.  They truly are growing up WAY too fast.

What you don't see is that one little girl just spit up ALL over me....hence the reason my shoulder is behind my husband!  Love how photography can hide these unpreventable little mishaps ;)

Yep, we had to feed them in order to get through the rest of the shoot :)
