Well, it's actually rather large in my opinion. Nonetheless, this is one of the first places we went after given the approval at our 2 month check up a week earlier. It was time to venture back to church! Of course, we still had to be careful of germs and such but we could finally be around people again....yes, even kids :) So, my girls got to experience their first Sunday morning church service and I think it was a hit! This momma was a little nervous but Barbara Brennan, the Minister to Preschoolers at our church, had visited a few weeks before and calmed some of those nerves. She wanted to meet our girls, answer any questions we might have, and pray over our family. I loved this! This truly did make the transition a lot easier for us and we were certainly more prepared than we would have been sans this meeting. I am proud to say that I only went back one time in between services to check on my girls and of course, they were doing just fine (not that I doubted they would be ;) ). We were given a pager so that they could contact us throughout the morning if they needed us for any reason. They've actually never had to contact us so we have since given up taking the pager (they know where to find us if they need to). I am so thankful for such wonderful childcare workers who are so passionate and loving towards our children. They all seem to adore Avari and Emeri and after that first morning, they were begging us to bring them back :) And of course, we always do! They constantly tell us how great they are and how they never have ANY problems with them...who thinks they're stretching the truth a little?! ;) They have also told us how much they enjoy music time; this doesn't surprise me as they really enjoy it at home as well!
I wasn't as prepared as I would have liked to be in the department of attire for my children. However, we did pick up a couple of cute little dresses before the big morning. Although I didn't have a yellow bow to match, I think they still look pretty darn adorable :) Oh, and by the way, these are the best pictures I could find out of all the ones we took....once again, they weren't too keen on taking pictures. And I think James and I learned our lesson that morning....we only thought it was hard to get ourselves up and ready for church. Adding twins into the mix is a whole different ball game...but oh so worth it!

Man, church sure did wear us out!
We are so glad to have gotten back into church. After being out for about 2 months, we truly had missed going and were anxious to get back into fellowship with our friends. We are so thankful to have such a wonderful church home who truly has supported us through the good times and the bad and are looking forward to raising our girls in this special little place called Kingsland!
