After I had the girls, I was
a little VERY emotional and the smallest of things would make me cry. The simple fact that my husband chose to put my child in the swing for the first time without me being there was one of those things. It had been one of those long, sleepless nights and we were all exhausted (yes, even the dogs). James was on Miss Avari duty and the two of them disappeared for a little while. Sometime later, I went upstairs to check on them. My husband was passed out on the couch in the game room and my child was swinging away. Sleeping, yes. But swinging for the first time without mommy=NOT okay :( I was not a happy camper and let my husband know that pretty quickly. However, it was hard to argue with him when she was actually sleeping. The swing was the only thing that had worked for any length of time. So, the following day we decided that it was time to put BOTH girls in the swings....ya know, with camera in tow :) So, here is Miss Emeri's and Miss Avari's
first time in their swings ;)

PS: Yes, this perfectionist hates that the swings do not match. But hey, when you have twins, you have to take what you can get since you need double of almost everything. So thankful that my cousin Stephanie passed this along to us :)
