My team (or old team rather) is wonderful and although I was only about 11 weeks pregnant, they wanted to throw me a baby shower before the end of the school year...especially since I wouldn't be returning the following year. I was on cloud nine....not only was I still in awe of actually being pregnant with twins, I was just plum happy to be celebrating it with the people I love! I had been trying to use all of my sick/personal days at work and since it would be easier for them to set up with me not being there (yep, that's the only reason I took off ;) ), I spent the day off campus only to return at the end of the day for my shower. At this point, we still did not know the gender of the babies~I think they did a fabulous job of making it neutral while still being adorable!! The decorations were precious and the food was yummy but the best part was being among friends....so many who helped carry me through this incredible journey. I love you guys~you will ALWAYS hold a special place in my heart!
