Celebrating Avari & Emeri~Shower #3

I truly have the most amazing friends, friends who have carried me through the past two years of my life...through the incredibly difficult journey of infertility! There were times they could have given up on me, times when I probably deserved as much.  But instead, they continued to support me and point me in the direction of the One who controls it all.  Not once did they turn their backs on me; not once did they lose faith in me.  They WERE and ARE my rocks!  I feel like God blessed me with each and every one of them to help me get through this complex time in my life.  They helped me grow stronger; they helped me see life in a different light; they helped me become the person I am today!

My best friends always told me that one day they would throw me the biggest, best baby shower ever!  And I have to say, they did just that and MORE!  Words simply cannot express how special they made me feel on this day.  From the intricate details they put into making the decorations to the tasty food (Mexican~my favorite) and delicious desserts, to everything in between, I couldn't have asked for a more special day!  They wanted so badly to make this day perfect for me and I kept telling them that it would be, simply because of the two precious little angels we were celebrating.  I told them that the main request I had was that it be a reflection of our faith and our journey....giving credit to the One who deserves it all!  My prayer is that people saw this and that God received all of the glory.  My prayer continues to be that our journey and our life will never cease to do exactly that!

Thank you so much to each and every person that attended my baby shower!  I appreciate all of the wonderful gifts but by far, you being there meant more to me than ANYTHING else!  Each of you hold a special place in my heart and I am grateful for the hand you have had in our lives!

A HUGE thank you to Heather for opening her beautiful home for this special occasion and also to my amazing hostesses and best friends for making this a day I'll never forget!  My heart truly overfloweth~yes, because of all the hard work you put into this day but mostly because of the obvious love that you have for me and my soon to be family of four :)

Love you guys so much and can't wait to introduce Avari Hope & Emeri Faith to all of you!!
