DIY Fun :)

My friend Sheri asked me earlier in the summer if I would help her make a diaper cake for her sweet sisters baby shower...and of course I said yes!  Not only do I enjoy making these, but it was good hangout time with a great friend! I think she may have added a few things later that we didn't have on hand....but here was the final product before I left.  I think it's super adorable and goes well with the sports theme of little Chase's room :)

While chatting, Sheri told me she had really wanted to make a banner for the shower using the letter of Chase's name.  She didn't really have the time to do it, so I told her I'd be happy to make it for her.  Plus, it was an excuse to play with my new cricut :)  It's the first one I've ever made but I think it turned out pretty well!  I was definitely texting her a lot because I wanted it to be the vision she had in mind...I think she was pleased :)

And of course, she added some ribbon/tulle in between the letters and at the ends in order to hang it over the fireplace!  Can't wait to make another one....maybe something for my girls?!?! ;)
