Smiles During Recovery! :)

I know that I touched on this topic in one of my previous posts, but again I wanted to thank everyone for the continued encouragement. The thoughts, prayers, emails, texts, cards, gifts, and dinners are too numerous to name but are very much appreciated. I also cannot fail to mention my wonderful friends & family who were by side at the hospital through the duration of the surgery-thank you James, Mom & Dad, and Kevin, Heather, & Sophie~Love you guys! Just to show a few things that brightened my days in bed:

The BEAUTIFUL flowers that my dear friend Abby brought by when she came to visit me on Friday! I was still moving at a very slow speed at this point but very much enjoyed a visit from the outside world! :)

The really DELICIOUS edible arrangement that my sweet friend Holly had delivered to my home. She felt so bad for not being closer (she lives in Virginia) so that she could do more....simply being my friend and supporting me is truly enough. I enjoyed this gift for days! :)

The ADORABLE card that James' precious coworker and friend Monika sent to me. She has a special talent as she makes these sweet cards...something I am definitely interested in learning how to do one day (let's just add it to the list). :)
