I have always wanted a scrapbook room...a place of my own where I could keep all of it spread out instead of having to pack EVERYTHING away each time I complete a FEW pages. I felt like if I had a room of my own, I might actually scrapbook more often and MIGHT even catch up-yes-sadly, I am still in the year 2008! So, I finally decided "Why not?" We have a spare bedroom upstairs not being used (except for the junk we tend to store in there) and I have PLENTY of supplies to fill this space. Needless to say, James and I got busy and created a space of my own (& Heather of course-thanks for all the advice). Yes, this was one of my summer projects but both James and I felt like we should get it done before summer that way I could actually start scrapbooking when school finally ended. So, that's exactly what we did! :-)
Ok...please keep in mind that this is still a work in progress. But, I did promise several people that I would post some pictures of what we have so far.
My TV! This is for those times when I am scrapbooking alone and have no one to chat with. Please excuse the wires and the end table we are currently using for a TV stand. Like I said, a work in progress!
Here is a fold up table we are using for my scrapbook partners! As you can see, Heather and I have been scrapbooking already. She is probably the one who will use this desk the most, but all you scrapbooking fans are ALWAYS welcome! :)
Here is my desk. It is all nice and clean right now, but NEVER is while I'm actually working. I periodically have to stop and clean it off, otherwise I cannot find a thing!
Ta-Da!!! Here is the picture I know you have all been waiting for. I discovered these fun organizational pieces at Hobby Lobby while shopping for work stuff. 9 (40% off and 25% off) coupons later, several trips back and forth to Hobby Lobby, and multiple people taking multiple trips through the checkout line, we now have this creation! There are actually 9 pieces here which James so nicely helped put together (I did try to help but I have to admit, he was much faster than me). You can arrange each piece however you want, but James had the idea to make it like a stair step and place my scrapbooks on the ends. I happen to like the idea and think it's great storage for ALL those scrapbooks (I keep wondering where they're all going to fit in 50 years!!!).
I just love all the different nooks and cranny's where I can put STUFF!! I even bought SEVERAL jars (big & small of course) to put all my stuff in....like my FOAM (yes Heather, I still keep that stuff even though we don't use it as much anymore), buttons, ribbon, etc.
Anyway, this is my scrapbook room and I LOVE IT!! So, if you need to reach me over the summer, this is probably where I'll be (either here, or in my pool :) )!

I love it! It looks great! I wish I could be that organized, or even that creative! I bought some stuff to scrapbook...maybe one day I will get to it. And maybe one day I will live close enough and we can scrapbook together!
I sure hope so girlie!!! :-)
Love it but you already know that :)
I love it too!!! I am so jealous! I am sitting here trying to figure out where to put one of those things in the RV! LOL
