It has been a while since I have written-not because I haven't wanted to, but because sometimes there are no words. I have been wanting to write this for a couple days now as I was inspired by a movie your daddy and I watched. It was Valentine's Day and this father gave his wife, son, & daughter a special valentines-one that made them feel so special. It immediately made me think of James and what an AMAZING daddy he is going to be to you (you should see how he is with Max & Lily....they love him). On family trips, the kids seem drawn to him and the neighbor kids can't seem to get enough of him. I often hear, "You have a great husband and he's going to be an amazing dad one day!"
Your daddy is going to love you with more love than is humanly possible; I know he already does. He will be that dad that will buy you valentines, not only on the actual day, but on random days just to make you smile. He will entertain you with whatever your heart desires; he will play games with you, play ANY kind of sport with you, swim with you, take walks with you, talk with you (but mostly listen), snuggle with you, read to you, comfort you when you are hurt, bandage your wounds, take you to the park, take you to the movies, surprise you with your favorite toys, play hide & go seek with you, and cook your favorite meals for you.
These are only a few of the many things he will do for you-I know this because he does it for me. He always tries to give me what my heart desires and feels terrible when unable to. You're daddy is a good man, one full of the utmost dignity and integrity. He does what is right and is always striving to make himself a better person-for himself, for me, and for you.
So precious one, I want you to know that I am doing everything I can to make it possible for you to be with us. I won't deny that I get down, but I promise to keep fighting for you because you my dear, are worth it! I pray now that God is preparing my body for you-that it will be the perfect, most healthy environment for you to grow in. You have so much to look forward to-you have one special daddy to meet.
Love always,
Mommy

I just start crying! James IS going to be an amazing Daddy! He was wonderful with Logan. God is preparing you, and that little angel is up there just waiting for the right time. Not only will there be a special Daddy, but a very special Mommy too. Both of you will be amazing parents. I can't wait to go on the journey with you. It IS all worth it, I promise. ♥ you both!
One of the very few days I actually have makeup on and I've already cried! It was a good cry though so I guess it's ok. I love you guys!
When James read it, he asked me if I was trying to make him cry....I said no, just speaking from my heart!
I've never met James, but he sounds AMAZING!! This just made me cry too!!
