Happy 2nd, Sophia Grace!

Seriously~I can NOT believe that this child is two!  She's not even mine (well, by blood anyways) and it feels like just yesterday we were on our way to the hospital to meet this precious, little baby girl.  It has been two wonderful years of watching her grow into this walking, talking, laughing, precious little toddler.  It has been two years of ups and downs, joy and pain, and a LOT of growth.  It has been two years of changing the lives of her and mommy and daddy as well as the friendship that we share with them.  Life was good before, but I can honestly say that it is a whole lot better with the addition of our children in it (harder, but better!).  I feel so honored to be a part of not only Heather and Kevin's life, but also sweet Sophia Grace's (and soon to be Lilah's too).

What better way to celebrate your second birthday than with a party on Sophia Street (aka: Little Gym)?  Not only that, but a Little Gym, Elmo themed party with your sweet family and all of your best friends?!  I think Heather was super smart by picking this place.  The lack of prep work was easy for this pregnant momma and a big hit with the kids!  And yes, I'm taking notes ;) Although my girls weren't exactly big enough to participate in all of the activities, they seemed to really enjoy watching the rest of the kids dance to music, swing from bars, and jump like crazy.  Some tasty food and yummy cake (Three Sisters Sweets~check her out!) later, I'd say all the kids were worn out.  It was definitely a success and I am so thankful we were able to join Sophia on her special day :)
