6 Month Photo Shoot

You would think by now that I would have this down.  I mean, we have had pictures made every 3 months since the girls were born.  In my defense, that's only been twice (not including their newborn shoot).  Apparently, I don't have it down though and I failed to book their 6 month session before our normal photographer got booked up.  This is not surprising since it was the end of the school year (she's a teacher), the beginning of summer (I'm sure there were lots of weddings and such going on), and of course graduation time.  Instead of scheduling closer to their 7 month birthday, we decided to go ahead and take them with a different photographer this time around.

I had heard of Kim Gipson with Little Lamb Photography  from a few friends that I go to church with and I really liked the work she had done with them. Luckily, she had some time open exactly when we needed it.  We met up with her on an early Saturday morning and had a great photo session!  Okay, so maybe my girls were little turkeys like always and playing camera shy.  And maybe my hair was quite frizzy before the end of the session.  And maybe we failed to pull the girl's skirts all the way down making it look like they aren't wearing any.  And maybe, just maybe, I'm being a little too picky?! ;)  Either way, these were no faults of Kim's~she managed to get some great shots despite all of our "issues."  She was a true joy to work with and I am glad to have met her.  Turns out, she is pregnant with twins!!  She doesn't know anyone else with twins so we plan on going to coffee at some point and swapping information.  Hey, I'm no expert but I feel like I've learned a thing or two over the past half year ;)  All in all, I think we had a successful morning; we got some great pictures, made a new friend, and hopefully in return, we can help her out with her growing family :)

Without further ado, the pictures!  Below is a link to the sneak peak featured on her blog and then a few of my favorites.  Enjoy :)
