Facing it-always facing it-that's the way to get through. Face it!
A dear friend of mine was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. I have always had great admiration for this lady, a lady who carries herself with the utmost dignity and grace. "Facing it" is exactly what she has done since discovering this terrible disease that has invaded her precious body. And while some would want the attention, the pity, and the sorrow that comes with this territory...she wants NOTHING to do with it. The only reason she has come out to the world about this is to make women aware of their own bodies and the need to take care of them. I can honestly say my admiration for this incredible lady has grown immensely and she has given me the desire to be a better ME! She has been by my side for the past two years, constantly encouraging and giving praise, and NEVER once giving up on me. I genuinely believe my life is better because she is in it. Stay strong my precious friend! I love you!
