.) LATE MORNINGS~I can sleep late every day if I want to...no early morning meetings, no last minute preparations for ARD's, no NOTHING!
.) SWIMMING~I LOVE my pool and there aren't too many days during the summer that I'm not in it...typically laying on a float with a drink in one hand (yes, a preferred beverage of course) and a book in the other (non-work related).
.) FRIENDS & FAMILY- Since this is the least busy, least stressful time of my year, spending time with the ones I love is truly enjoyable.
.) BOOKS-I LOVE TO READ!!! But, I do not feel like I get enough "fun" reading time in during the school year. Last summer, I think I read close to 15 books....ALL FUN!!!
.) COOKING-I actually (don't laugh James) really do enjoy cooking. I feel like I have enough time to try new recipes and explore new ideas during the summer.
.) SCRAPBOOKING-This is one of my favorite pastimes...although expensive and extremely time consuming, I truly enjoy bringing out the "creative" side of myself. And to go back and look at the finished products, always makes me feel so good!
.) DOGS-I love those little rascals and feel so guilty every day when I have to leave them (and a little jealous that THEY get to stay in bed and I don't!!).
.) VACATIONS-It is sooo easy to plan trips (large or small) during the summer months. We already have a beach trip planned with my family and hopefully we'll make it to our annual river trip. If we don't get to go to Greece like I keep dreaming, a cruise would be nice! ;-)
.) JAMES-How can I forget the LOVE of my life?! With my stress level at an all time low, spending time with him is so much more fun...and I'm sure he feels the same! ;-P
And so....the count down begins....11 1/2 days left of school (with the kiddos), 13 more days for me!!!!!!!!!!!
