Lead Me!

I heard this song one morning as I was driving to work and it really touched my heart...maybe for some apparent reasons, maybe for some not as obvious.  As I listened to the words I felt like this band had seen the innermost part of my heart and poured it out into something so sweet, so very beautiful.

I feel this is the way I depend on James and the way I hope our future children will depend on their daddy.  I see this as the way our Heavenly Father wants us to lean on Him, just as the man in this song so humbly does.  

I hear these words speak to me not only about my "health issues", but about my life in general.  Whether I fully accept this or not, I am a leader (I think we all are) and I have people who need me.  My great desire is that I can offer the best part of me and make a difference in their life.  

I can't tell you how many times I have prayed the very words of this song...."Father, Lead Me, 'Cause I Can't Do This Alone!'"  Although I feel SO very alone at times, I know this is simply not true for God is not only holding my hand, but carrying me through this entire stage of my life!
