Okay, it's pretty sad when you have to look at a friends blog post just to remember how the day went....I HAVE to find time to start keeping up with this blog! So, thanks Heather for the reminder :)
Over the Christmas holidays, we went to Pearland for a "date day" with Heather & Kevin. We typically try to take advantage of our time off from work....so, with all of us off, it was the perfect day! We ate at Lupe Tortilla for lunch (yum-Mexican food is mine & Heather's favorite-Sophie's too), went & saw
The Little Fockers (knee slapping funny right there), and then returned to their house for fun & games (and yes, I will admit to being a sore loser....but hey, who likes to lose?!?!).
This is the first time we had seen them since before Christmas so we were finally able to give Sophie her Christmas present. What is that old saying.....save the best for last? I think that's exactly what we did because it appears that it was a big hit :)

I also had the honor of giving Sophie her FIRST bite (and maybe a few more) of ice cream!!! And let me tell you, that girl LOVES ice cream :) Just see for yourself...

Well, I'm not sure how Sophie & I ended up being the ONLY two in these pictures.....I promise the others were there!! Regardless, we had a GREAT day....but then again, we usually do :)
