Like I said in my previous post...we headed to Kirbyville after leaving James' family. It was actually a very
strange Christmas at my house this year as we had a much smaller crowd than usual. Dennis & Kelly chose to keep the kiddos home for Christmas morning this year and didn't come in until Sunday afternoon. Although I missed them tremendously, I totally get it-I am sure when we have our own children we will want to make the same special traditions. J.W. Christie also had to back out this year...unfortunately most of the family was sick! :( So, it ended up being a small and cozy Christmas this year with me, James, mom, dad, Aunt Glynis, Steven, and Jordyn....but that is okay, we had a great time! On Christmas Eve we spent sweet time together talking and baking (and sneaking a few as we went along). On Christmas Day we went a little nontraditional with the meal and had shrimp gumbo-YUM! Just like the last post, I don't have much to report on and actually fewer pictures this time but regardless, we had a nice time!

Which holiday did the car break down??? At least that livens things up....
Hahaha! I actually meant to talk about that but forgot....I think it was Thanksgiving...and yes, it did liven things up (not necessarily my kind of "liven" though) ;-P
