7th Heaven

These past 7 months have literally flown by and I just don't understand how this keeps happening!  My baby girls are growing up right before my very eyes and I have no idea how to slow down time.  However, while I miss those precious newborn moments, I am seriously LOVING all the fun things my girls are experiencing and learning how to do!  Isn't it funny how this very thing can make us happy and sad all at the same time?!  Bittersweet I tell ya, bittersweet.  They truly amaze me each and every day.  Quite often, I just look at them in awe and thank God for blessing me with this special, special time.

At 7 months you girls:

• Are wearing size 3, 3-6, 6, 6-9, and 12 month clothing ~ a very wide range but different brands seem to fit differently!  Oh, and the size 12 is your swimsuit...these run SUPER small!
• Are eating 6-9 oz of formula at a time plus 2-3 meals of baby food a day (this consists of all the same foods you were eating at 6 months).
• Are making an effort to hold your own bottles!  Mommy sure is looking forward to you mastering this skill :)
• Tend to go through stages and at this point, A is my little attention craver!
• Seem to be so much more content with life and super happy ~ we are just loving this!
• Are trying really hard to crawl and making scooting motions across the floor.
• Are wearing size 2 diapers during the day and size 3 at night.
• Love to snack on Mum Mums but aren't sure about puffs yet (I think they are too small for you to pick up plus, they tend to make you gag).
• Have the chunkiest little thighs and the most kissable cheeks EVER!
• Avari-You love to lay on your back and put your feet against walls, entertainment centers, dressers...pretty much any hard surface :)
• Are making strides towards sitting up.
• Emeri-You are a bit of a bully...you always seem to be ganging up on your sister and stealing her toys!  At least you are a cute bully :)
• Love to have your tummies blown on and your sweet giggles bring us such joy!
• Think the dogs are the funniest things and often times giggle/squeal when you see them.  The dogs however aren't so keen on you when you pull their tails and ears.
• Avari-You crack mommy up because every time you burp, you look at me and laugh.  I can't help but giggle too :)
• Are so ticklish on your belly AND your feet!
• Finally got to experience sliding down a slide...of course with our assistance.
• Are constantly stealing each others paci's...you seriously pull it out of each others mouths and place it in your own (yes, we love to share germs!).
• Are now reaching out for us when you want to be picked up and this just melts our hearts!
• Emeri-You love to squeal and have learned that you can do this when happy AND mad!
• Avari-You love for us to jump at you....this makes you squeal in excitement!
• Love to hear mommy laugh like crazy...who knew one could have so many different laughs ;)
• Have the most beautiful smiles EVER and have finally started revealing them to the world by letting us capture them on camera!!
• Have used the mesh/teething bags with fruit in them and are big fans!
• Do not seem to be interested at all in Baby Einstein although mommy tried really hard :(
• Have been introduced to swimming and seem to like it....especially since discovering you can splash!
• Are into EVERYTHING making mommy realize that our house isn't as baby proofed as we thought!
• Now sleep with your lovies during nap time although honestly, you don't seem to be that interested in them.
• Have finally visited the place where mommy grew up.  Not once, but twice!
• Have been to a couple more parties including a birthday party and an anniversary party.
• Have visited mommy's old school and met some of mommy's most special friends.
• Still love to sing The Wheels On the Bus!  This is something mommy will sing to help calm you down when you are upset.
• For some reason are drawn to computer cords (or any cord really) and tend to want to chew on them.  This is a no-no baby girls!
• Made me EXTREMELY proud and honored to be a mommy on this very special Mother's Day!
• Have been dedicated back to the Lord who blessed our lives with you, my sweet angels.
• Love to play peek-a-boo and make some of the cutest faces while doing so!
• Are growing up WAY too fast and no longer using your swings or your bouncers :(
• LOVE to play in your excersaucer and jumperoo and will do so for lengthy periods of time!  I love to watch y'all interact with each other while in these :)
• Have an obsession with feet and hands...yours and everyone else's too!  
• Also have an obsession with shoes and necklaces....especially sparkly ones.  Daddy says he's in trouble....I think he's right ;)
• Continue to amaze your mommy and daddy every single day and bring such joy to our lives!  We love you more than any words could ever express...always and forever!
