Confirmation

On Monday morning (the 28th) I called the doctor immediately and scheduled an appointment to confirm what we already knew.  Can I just tell you how much I love Dr. Peterson and how very blessed I feel knowing that she will be the one delivering our precious baby!  As soon as she walked into my room, she gave me a big hug and congratulated me.  She knows this has been a long time coming and is obviously genuinely happy for us.  She told me that she had been thinking about me over the weekend and now she knows why-she must be psychic! :)

They did some blood work and she answered some of my questions concerning diet, medication, physical activity and the like.  She was very patient with me and understanding of the fact that this is our first child and we have already been through so much.

I went back Wednesday (30th) for more blood work.  This is done 48 hours from the last test to make sure that my levels are increasing approrpriately.  Although I didn't get to see Dr. Peterson on this visit, she had a note waiting for me confirming that my levels looked great and that we just need to see an increase on these next tests.  She called Thursday afternoon and told me that they are indeed increasing as they should.  This was music to my hears as I had been anxiously awaiting this news!
