One Year Photo Shoot

We decided to have the girls one year pictures taken about a month before they actually turned one so that we could use some of the pictures at their birthday party.  This probably wasn't the best weekend to try and have a photo shoot considering that the girls came down with a stomach bug the night before (I had it the weekend before that and unfortunately, by the time we got home from the shoot, James found himself hugging the potty as well).  Nevertheless, we pressed forward and overall, I was quite happy with how the pictures turned out!  I must give a big shout out to my wonderful photographer, Melanie Johnson w/ Big Heart Photography, as she always does such an amazing job with my girls!  Below are a few of my favorites from the day!  By the way, it wasn't cold at all outside in October but this momma wanted some cute "winter" pictures to use for Christmas cards this year.  I know my husband appreciated me dressing him in warm clothes in this Texas heat ;)
