While some of you might find this boring...and maybe even a little repetitive, I couldn't help but include a post on this photo shoot. When I made a decision on a theme for the girls' 1st birthday party, I began to search the Internet for ideas. When I came across a particular blog, which later became the inspiration for their party, I just knew I had to recreate the picture that she used on her invitations. So, I found this pink bucket at Babies R Us, bought a lot of lemons from HEB (not as many as you probably think), dressed the girls in these adorable outfits that Nannie bought us, grabbed my handy photographer (aka: my husband), and headed to Old Katy for a mini photo shoot! Honestly, I was pleasantly surprised! The girls handled it SO well and we even got a lot of smiles (you all know this rarely happens when a camera is involved). So, here are the results of one of our more positive photo shoots :)
And the winner is...
I can't help but brag on James a little bit...he edited this photo and I think he did an amazing job (especially for an amateur)!
