Either I'm incredibly lazy and I sit around all day doing NOTHING.
Or...
I haven't slowed down yet and most of my days have been filled with doctors appointments, lunch/dinner with friends, bible studies, cleaning/organizing the house, and working on the nursery (just to name a few).
So, I get behind on my blog (or anything for that matter) and then I just avoid the overwhelming task at hand. Because unlike some people (who I wish I could be more like), I cannot just skip over the things I haven't talked about but rather I have to document each and every one of them...no matter how far behind I might be. Is it bad that something I once enjoyed is turning into something I "have" to do? I actually LOVE to write...it's just not as enjoyable when I am so far behind. I can remember a day when I was "reaching" for things to write about. Now, my list is endless.
So, you see, this is my problem.
And my solution: to attempt to blog a few entries each day until I'm caught up. Have I tried this before? Yes! Have I failed miserably? Yes! Does it stop me from trying again? No way! Hence, the influx of posts you will begin to see in the next few days :)
Oh, and not that anyone cares, but I have decided that I am only going to blog about books and recipes when I read an exceptionally good book or make/eat an amazing meal....I just can't do it all ;)
