A Sea of Pink...A Sea of Love

To some, October 2nd was just an ordinary day. But to me, it was a life changing experience....an extraordinary moment in time! It is on this day that I realized the gravity one special event can create...an event based on love....an event based on the will to live! I am honored to have been able to participate in “The Race for the Cure” to help raise money and create awareness for the fight against breast cancer. Most importantly, I am proud to have walked in honor of 3 special friends: Dawn, Jackie, and Cathy-3 incredible ladies who are fighting and winning this battle, who’s courageous efforts and joyful spirits never cease to amaze me. They are a true inspiration to me and to so many out there!

We had the most amazing day-thank you so much to everyone who participated; either by joining the team, donating to the cause, walking/running in the race, or by saying a special prayer for those that inspired our efforts!

Sooo early in the morning.....we met at 5:30AM to beat the crowds (apparently everyone else had the same idea) and yes Carra, you were right ;-)	All geared up and ready to take that stand against Breast Cancer!
