Okay...so, rewind oh about 4 months ago to when I last updated my blog (minus baby posts of course)! In January, we were able to celebrate Jay's 1st Birthday!!! I can't believe he is already a year old...it feels like just yesterday I was anxiously awaiting the phone call that he had made it into this world. I remember telling everyone after he was here that Kristin was my new hero-she did in fact deliver a 10 pound baby ALL NATURAL!!!! Wow, I was impressed and still to this day am amazed by her strength.
So our beautiful Jay Alexander turned 1 on January 8th and family and friends met at Chuck E Cheese to celebrate his special day. Turns out the poor little guy was sick and ended up making a trip to the ER after his little party was over (hence the reason for not many smiles in the pictures). However, I think he enjoyed his celebration-I mean pizza, cake, a giant sized mouse, balloons, confetti, games....who wouldn't enjoy this?!?! We are so thankful we were able to spend time with you on your 1st birthday Jay and despite being sick, we hope you had a wonderful day!!
Jay Bird-we love you so much and feel so blessed to have you in our family! Your sweet little disposition brings so much joy to our lives. Thank you for making our family that much more special :)
