*Although summer has come to an end and we are quickly approaching CHRISTMAS, I have continued to read (not as often) and do have a few books to catch you up on. You will find that some are from my usual fiction selection while some are self-help books that I have ventured out to explore in order to continue my journey of improving on the qualities I find not so appealing about myself. I hope that you enjoy them and even find a book or two that might encourage you the way it has done for me!*
My Thoughts: This is why I need to stay on top of updating the ‘ol blog....I can’t honestly remember a whole lot about this book in order to give you my sincere thoughts on it. But, I did read it and I do remember loving it! I did like the way Ms. Giffin did not paint a picture of a truly “perfect” marriage but one that actually faced obstacles....because as we all know, this truly is how real life is! While I will not spoil the story for you by letting you know the choice(s) Ellen makes, I will recommend that you pick up the book and read it yourself. Enjoy! :)
